MERCHANDISER

Hampshire Farms has openings in our Merchandising department for seasonal merchandisers. This position is responsible for the presentation and maintenance of Hampshire Farms live product in retail stores’ garden centers in the Chicagoland area.

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creating and maintaining plant displays
• Unloading product from racks onto display areas
• Watering
• Recording inventory
• Customer service
• Must be available to work weekends

 KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Plant knowledge helpful
• Experience in merchandising preferred
• Access to computer to check merchandiser website
• Flexibility due to seasonal nature of the job
• Will require physical, manual labor
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Skills with merchandising product preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
