Hampshire Farms is seeking a motivated, forward-thinking quality-oriented Field Sales Supervisors to manage a staff of field merchandisers who work under their supervision. Supervisors are responsible for driving sales of Hampshire Farms product in garden centers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible to drive sales initiatives to meet sales goals
- Required to visit and manage merchandising operation in assigned stores regularly
- Adhere to labor hours assigned for indoor and outdoor areas by the Director of Sales
- Report inventory changes as well as labor changes
- Record markdown changes on a weekly basis
- Report performance related concerns of store personnel or field sales personnel to Management and Human Resources
- Physical manual labor required in all weather conditions
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Flexibility due to seasonal nature of the job
- May require physical, manual labor at the store level
- Weekend and holiday availability
EDUCATIONAL, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven knowledge and/or experience in horticulture, agriculture and landscape
- Experience with perennials preferred
- Demonstrated experience in Sales and Garden Center merchandising
- Excellent customer service
- Plant knowledge
- Demonstrated managerial/supervisory experience is critical
- Working knowledge of computer, iPad and digital camera
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with co-workers, management and other industry professionals
